Before synthetic fabrics and mass production, quilts were made from whatever was on hand.Ours began life sometime between the 1930s and 1950s, stitched together from cotton feed sacks that once carried flour and grain across rural America. During the Depression and into WWII, families saved these printed sacks, cutting them into triangles and piecing them into quilts.
