Field Trips: golf and nature trips

GGNC Field Trips are three-day golf trips built around nature. Around 40 golfers, standout local courses, hikes, stargazing, good food and time outside, hosted by Gumtree Golf & Nature Club.

What a Field Trip looks like

Each trip runs for three days in a place with great golf and even better landscapes. Days mix rounds at local courses with the things we'd do anyway: a sunrise walk, a hike, a swim in a hot spring, birdwatching, a long dinner and a fire. Each trip is capped at around 40 people, so it still feels like a trip with friends rather than a tour.

• Three days and two nights, starting and finishing mid-afternoon
• Rounds at several local courses chosen for the setting, not just the scorecard
• Guided nature time: hikes, bird walks, stargazing
• Private lodging, most meals, on-course drinks, transport between courses and a GGNC gear kit are included; you handle travel to the trip
• Low-flying birds over low scores: the trips are about the places as much as the golf
