Field Notes is a collaboration between PUMA Golf and Gumtree Golf & Nature Club, released in April 2026. Its colours, flora and graphics come from the Rocky Mountains, home of the North American puma, Puma concolor.

About the collection

Golf has become a game of speed and scores. Field Notes asks you to slow down and notice where you are: the light, the plants, the animals that were there long before the course. The campaign was photographed in the Rockies, in puma country.

Field Notes S/S Polo

100% cotton in a slightly boxy fit, in Sandstone and Warm Gray. The stripes are drawn from the earth of the Rocky Mountains.

Wildflowers of the Rocky Mountains Tee

Hand-drawn illustrations of wildflowers found through the Rockies, with the GGNC and PUMA marks on the chest.

Puma Pardoides Reference Tee

A re-creation of the skeleton of Puma pardoides, an extinct ancestor of the mountain lion that roamed Eurasia more than two million years ago.

Conservation Dept. Fleece

A button-up fleece in Warm White Heather, after the vintage outdoor brands and early explorers of the Rocky Mountains.

Field Shorts

Warm White with Dark Sage puma patches and a GGNC woven label on the back pocket.

Hats

The Field Notes 6-panel, with two pumas embroidered in motion across the front, and the Conservation Dept. 5-panel. Both unstructured, in 100% cotton.

Helsinki G

One of PUMA's vintage silhouettes, rebuilt as a golf shoe in canvas and suede. Made for the course, the trail or a walk through Brooklyn.
